Halselva - The Halsriver

The Halsriver is a river between Alta and Talvik where you can try fishing if you want to.

But, you need a fishing license! You can buy this on the local shop L. Mikkelsen in Talvik.   You are allowed to use fly-fishing-, worms- and trolling equipment (lures).

You can catch salmon, sea-trout and sea-char.
